Raleigh Metro SHRM’s Board of Directors (BOD) consists of 11 voting members who meet on the first Wednesday of each month to conduct Chapter business. RMSHRM elects officers to the BOD each November for the following calendar year.
We accept nominations from the Chapter via email and from the floor during our October Chapter meeting. The incoming President is responsible for appointing additional non-voting Directors to serve on the board. These additional members and Assistant Vice Presidents for each committee are invited to attend the Board of Directors meetings.
Please note that RMSHRM is a volunteer-led organization. We have the support of a Chapter management firm, FirstPoint Resources, to assist with some core operations. However, the majority of inquiries and all Chapter functions are handled by volunteers. Due to the volunteer-led nature of our organization, there may be a slight delay in response due to scheduling conflicts with work or other obligations. We appreciate your understanding and will respond as soon as possible.
