Raleigh Metro SHRM’s Board of Directors (BOD) consists of 11 voting members who meet the first Wednesday of each month to conduct Chapter business. RMSHRM elects officers to the BOD each November for the following calendar year.
We accept nominations from the Chapter via email and from the floor during our October Chapter meeting. Additionally, it is the incoming President’s responsibility to appoint the additional, non-voting Directors serving on the board.
Please note, RMSHRM is a volunteer led organization. While we do have the support of a Chapter management firm, FirstPoint Resources, to assist with some core operations, our typical process is for various volunteers to receive and respond to inquiries and manage all Chapter functions. Due to the volunteer led nature of our organization, there may be a slight delay in response due to scheduling conflicts with work or other obligations. We appreciate your understanding and will respond as soon as possible.
