Curious about the best way to get involved in our chapter? We’ve compiled some of the best ways for you to connect!

Members in Transition

Are you new to the Raleigh area, transitioning between careers, or looking for a new role in HR? Join our Members in Transition (MIT) group to network and connect with a group of peers who are facing the same challenges.

If you are looking to make a change or even just thinking about a change, then this is the group for you. This group is meant to be a resource and provide a space and peer group for anyone in transition to get support and guidance on their search.

Interested in joining our MIT group? We’d love to have you! Send an email to Josh Jones (JoshJ@frankelstaffing.com) to find out more information.

Emerging Leaders

Are you jumpstarting your career in the world of HR? We have the perfect networking opportunity just for you. Join your fellow HR colleagues with early career (around 0-5 years) experience and experience the feel of the new “Young Professional Network” within RMSHRM, now supporting the “Emerging Leaders” within the Triangle HR World. Here questions and challenges you face in your daily HR role will be discussed and relationships will be made through casual networking.

Every three months, mentors from executive think tanks will attend as resources. As emerging leaders, we will ask for suggested topics to be addressed in the future.

  • Connect with other newer local HR professionals in an easy going atmosphere
  • Discuss daily tasks, topics, and issues that arise in your jobs
  • Build a support network
  • Become informed on resolutions and best practices for daily processes/hurdles from experienced HR individuals
  • Grow your Leadership skills, as each month a member will select upcoming topic

Programs

Join us for one of our programs! We offer a variety of programming opportunities where you can connect with your peers while building your skills. Most programs are pre-certified for HRCI & SHRM credit and all offer an opportunity to meet and interact with others building your business network.

Volunteer

One of the best ways to get involved in our chapter is to become an active volunteer. Doing so will build relationships and valuable skills for your career development. What better way to meet and get to know people than working side-by-side on a committee or project team? Volunteer today!

Community Service

Pitch in on a community service effort! RMSHRM actively seeks ways to impact our local community through partnerships, projects and initiatives where we can contribute time, energy or donations to make a difference. Expand your network and give back!
