Currently accepting nominations for the Robert F. McLain HR Professional of Year Award:

The Robert F. McLain award recognizes an association member for his/her outstanding service to the chapter, to the human resources profession and to the community. The award is given in honor of Past President Robert F. McLain, who passed away approximately two months into his term as president. This is the highest achievement and honor presented to a RMSHRM member by the chapter and is awarded annually to one member.

November Monthly Meeting: US DOL Wage and Hour Update

After much, anticipation, the US Department of Labor’s (DOL) Wage and Hour Division (WHD) announced the new final overtime rule that goes into effect January 1, 2020. The new final overtime rule could have significant impact on employers.

This meeting will briefly recap the history leading up to this rule, address new salary thresholds, explain role incentive payments and much more.
