Volunteering with Raleigh Metro SHRM means you are joining a team of highly motivated HR professionals. This networking will enhance your membership experience and develop your skills. We realize that professional and personal demands often place limitations on our time, so we offer volunteer opportunities ranging from day-of help or short-term commitments to board positions with fixed annual terms.

Available Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers like YOU! Below are immediate needs within the chapter. We may have additional committee openings available, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re interested in volunteering in any capacity!

  • Newsletter editor – once a month you’ll use our email platform to send out that month’s newsletter.
  • Social Chair (Membership Team): have a hand in the fun! Help plan and execute the social events for RMSHRM.
  • WebEx Ambassador (Programs Team): seeking onsite support at monthly chapter meetings; requires average level of tech-savviness.
  • Raleigh Rescue Mission (Community Service Team): mock interviewers needed.
  • Social media/email creators (Communications Team) – want to hone your digital marketing skills? Then helping with the RMSHRM social media posts and emails may be a good fit for you.
