Olivia Ecker, MBA
President-Elect and Mentor Programs
Olivia Ecker is the Director, Talent Management at Asklepios Biopharmaceutical (AskBio), Inc. in Durham, North Carolina. She is responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, organizational culture, performance management, and learning & development in support of an inclusive, forward-looking, results-driven global workforce. Olivia is passionate about “employee experience” in full support of a “people first” HR Strategy. In addition to her current role, she has professional experience in Corporate Communications and Human Resources in the agricultural, technology, and financial services industries.
She has been a member of the Raleigh Metro SHRM Programs Team since 2020, served as the AVP, Programs in 2021 and 2022, and most recently as the VP, Programs in 2023. She also serves as the Board Chair for Activate Good, a Career Coach for Dress for Success NC, an evening/weekend volunteer with Note in the Pocket. She can often be found as a speaker and panelist at professional events supporting emerging leaders and those experiencing career transition.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY and a MBA from Iona College from New Rochelle, NY. She resides in Clayton, NC and besides volunteering, she enjoys traveling, drinking coffee and being the best aunt possible to her niece and nephew.
