Kimberly Storey, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Kimberly has over 25 years of extensive experience as an HR generalist, including 18 years in the public sector, and she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as a Senior Human Resources Analyst with the Town of Garner. She embraces the dynamic nature of a smaller HR department and is passionate about supporting those who have been called to public service. Kimberly’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Human Resources Management. She is SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified and has dedicated the past four years as a volunteer with Raleigh Metro SHRM’s Programs Team. Beginning in 2026, Kimberly will serve as Board Secretary.

Outside of work, Kimberly balances her professional life with quality family time, hand-quilting, and volunteering with a local performing arts organization.
